Blanks Motel

It's small but we really like it. You can't beat the price and it's quiet out here. They have some 1 beds, 2 beds, and some bigger ones with fridges and stoves. The people here are very nice and take good care of this old place. Price is king and you can't beat Blanks.

My experience since I've been there has been very good the people there are very nice they're helpful and they do work with you as long as you're showing that you're trying the willing to help you they help me I will say that much ain't nobody can tell me the people are not nice because they are they really are the caring the respectful and I'm willing to help people just trying to help their selves I would not stay at another motel if I had to I'd rather stay in the woods if I had to stay at another motel because this is the best Motel I've ever been to and the nicest I really appreciate everything they've done for me and my husband I want to say thank you to them and God bless oh and one more thing they do have free Wi-Fi and they do have a washer and dryer where you can wash your clothes and draw them I will tell anybody that that would be the best Motel to stay at 100 guaranteed

The staff are friendly and also very protective of the property. There's always someone present, which is awesome. They are picky about guests, though - troublemakers aren't welcome here. This is an older motel, but it's very well maintained, and the rooms feel very comfortable and more like a room in a home than a hotel. The beds are surprisingly comfortable and supportive, and the pillows are decent, as well. I never saw a single pest here, either. There's plenty of furniture, and all the HBO channels on TV. It's mostly quiet, too. Now for the downsides (every place has them): the laundry machines don't do a decent job washing or drying. The wifi very often gets clogged up by guests, I think, and I think they could benefit from turning on QoS on the routers so there's limits enforced on how much bandwidth can be used for different applications. The carpets need to be shampooed, though they were regularly vacuumed while I was there. They're close to being outside of cell phone tower coverage, which drives the need for functional wifi to take cell phone calls. The hot water doesn't last more than a few minutes, making baths pretty mandatory - and sometimes there was no hot water at all. I also had some mail get lost while I was there - so if you're expecting anything important and will be staying a long time, I recommend getting a p.o. box. Overall though it's a really fantastic motel for the price. The more expensive, chain- owned hotels in Orlando were actually much worse than this motel was, even though on the surface they appeared better. Just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover! I would totally stay here again.
